Can I swim at Khao Takiab beach?
Yes. Khao Takiab north beach is swimmable year round with a gentle slope. The southern end near the headland has a stronger tidal flow and a small boats pier. Jellyfish appear in September and October, mostly at dawn. Lifeguards are present at weekends.
Is Khao Takiab noisy?
The southern end of Khao Takiab is busier with tourists and fishing boats in the day. The residential streets off the main road are quiet. Choose a unit above the 5th floor in a beachfront condo to avoid street noise.
Are there monkeys at Khao Takiab?
